For shiny surfaces, polarization is often used in microscopy to enhance imaging of surface features and defects. The best polarizers have two polarized filters in the light path and can be rotated at angles, with 90 degrees often giving optimal results under cross polarized light. Optional c-mount with reduction lens for mounting to the trinocular port and attaching the ccd camera. This only affects the ccd video camera and not other photography equipment.
